Seek Publishing began its journey in 1989, based on the notion that nostalgic gifts bridge the gap between the way things once were and the way they are today. Two decades later, our company is still going strong, with a foundation built upon unique products that center on our culture’s colorful past.
Seek is constantly launching fun new products—using the past and nostalgia as a springboard. Recently, we released our irreverent and irresistible line, IMproper Greetings. A departure from our more traditional lines, these wickedly funny cards feature vintage images from the 1920s, coupled with modern sentiments that are just the right blend of sophistication and spice. They continue to be a huge hit in the marketplace.
We were honored to be chosen as one of the Top 10 Products by the CGTA and Retail News magazine, which referred to our cards as “laugh-out-loud hilarious.” In 2012, our vibrant and unique cards were joined by our IMproper Greetings Cocktail Napkins (and as we like to say, they are perfect for those who like to serve their beverages with a side of sass).
Appropriately enough, our company, whose fortunes have been so closely tied to nostalgia and preservation of the past, is headquartered in an historic structure rich with history itself. Built in 1926, the height of the Roaring 20s, our main offices started out housing a garage in a neighborhood full of saloons and brothels.
So...the way we figure it, if these walls could talk, they might say something IMproper, too.
